1. I have superannuated from the services of GAIL. I have not received the PRMS card. How to get the same?

2. My Doctor has prescribed for Indoor Treatment. How I can get the Credit letter?
In case of hospitalization, intimation should be given by superannuated employee /hospital to the company at the earliest. Further, you may kindly contact the local Designated Officer from where you are availing PRMS benefits with Doctor’s recommendation from concerned Empaneled/Non-empaneled Hospital. Credit letter will be sent by E-mail/DAK to the hospital and accordingly treatment may be availed.
3. I have submitted Medical Claim through Courier. But I am not getting any information regarding settlement of my claim?
You can contact the local designated Officer for status of your claim. Further, it is to inform you that system generated e-mail is being sent to individual employee with detailed break up of medial reimbursement payment being paid to superannuated employee. While crediting the payment in respective bank account the SMS was also sent by the concerned bank to the individual.
4. I would like to undergo Executive Health Check up. How to undertake the same? What facilities are available in PRMS, for the same?
You can avail ‘one Health Check Up’ and get reimbursement upto Rs.4,000/- within the ceiling allowed under Domiciliary treatment.
5. I would like to undergo Dental Treatment. How I can do that ? What facilities are available in PRMS?
For Artificial denture reimbursement upto Rs.5000/- is allowed within the ceiling of Domiciliary treatment. Further, dental treatment as per prescribed policies on the subject is reimbursable.
6. I had undergone Eye treatment and Doctor has prescribed Spectacle /contact lenses? What facilities are available in PRMS for the same?
You may avail reimbursement of Spectacle /contact lenses as per limits applicable under GAIL rules (within the limit of Domiciliary treatment).
7. How I will get my payment directly in my Bank Account?
NEFT form duly singed by bank is required to be submitted. The NEFT form may be downloaded from GAIL Web site or may be taken from the local Designated Officer.
8. I am widow / widower of late employee of GAIL. I am residing at my home town. How I will get PRMS claim?
You are requested to contact the local Designated Officer who will facilitate in processing of your claim.
9. What is my hospitalization limit.
As per Revised PRMs circular dt. 28.02.2017, the annual ceiling is as under: a) CMD & Directors - Rs.10 lac b) E-7 to E-9 - Rs.8.5 lac c) E-3 to E-6 - Rs.6.5 lac d) E-1 to E-2 - Rs.4.5 lac e) S-0 to E-0 - Rs.3 lac
10. What is my room entitlement during hospitalization.
As per Revised PRMs circular dt. 28.02.2017, the room entitlement is as under: a) CMD & Directors - upto Super Deluxe Room b) E-7 to E-9 - upto Deluxe Room c) E-3 to E-6 - upto Single AC Room d) E-1 to E-2 - upto Twin sharing basis Room e) S-0 to E-0 - upto 3/4 bed cubicle
11. Doctor has advised me for Homeopathic and Ayurvedic Treatment. Is the claim admissible under PRMS
Yes, the medicines under Homeopathic and Ayurvedic treatment is admissible within the ceiling of Domiciliary treatment.
12. What is co-payment charges
During hospitalization, if the total expenditure incurred beyond Rs.50,000/-, 1.5% on expenses beyond Rs.50,000/- will be born by the individual at the time of discharge directly with the hospital.
13. What is the time limit for submission of medical claim
The time limit for submission of medical claim during financial year is as under: a) Domiciliary: The reimbursement of medical bills for 6 months period should be claimed within the next 3 months i.e.. for the period April-September, the superannuated employee should submit his claim by 31st December and for the period October-March by 30th June. b) Hospitalization: The claim for reimbursement of non-empaneled hospitalization expenses should be submitted within 1 month from the date of discharge from the hospital.
Can superannuated employee avail Guest house facility for outstation medical treatment.
Yes, you may avail guest house facility subject to availability and payment of charges as applicable to serving employee.
15. What is my membership renewal fee.
As per Revised PRMs circular dt. 28.02.2017, the renewal of annual membership fee is as under: a) CMD & Directors - Rs.2500/- b) E-7 to E-9 - Rs.1800/- c) E-3 to E-6 - Rs.1500/- d) E-1 to E-2 - Rs.1200/- e) S-0 to E-0 - Rs.1000/-
16. What is the definition of prolonged ailments ?
The diseases which requires long term treatment as mentioned at Annexure –II of PRMS circular dt. 28.02.2017 are prolonged in nature. The said circular is hosted at Golden Retirement portal on website of GAIL.
17. What is my Domiciliary / Prolonged treatment limit.
As per Revised PRMS circular dt. 28.02.2017, the annual ceiling for Domiciliary / Prolonged treatment is as under: Grade Annual ceiling of Domiciliary treatment (in Rs.) 18. I am an Ex-employee. Whenever I visited GAIL’s premises, Security Personnel treat me like a visitor. How to overcome this problem?
You are requested to present your PRMS Identity Card at the reception of GAIL’s premises, you will be provided a visiting pass by the Receptionist. In case if you may face any problem, please contact local Designated Officer for assistance.
19. I would like to interact with my fellow colleagues. How I can get the addresses and contact numbers ?
You are requested to visit Golden Retirement portal on website of GAIL wherein list of all superannuated employees is hosted, which contains name, phone no. address & e-mail address also.
20. I am an retired employee and at time feel alienated and recall our contributions and would like to see the GAIL Progress. How I can?
You may visit GAIL website or contact the local Designated Officer for required information.
21. I am a superannuated Employee and not getting Pension through LIC ?
You may approach Ms. Seema Gupta, Manager(P&GS), Life Insurance Corporation of India, Pension & Group Scheme Department, 7th floor, Jeevan Prakash, 25, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi -110001 alongwith Annuity details or you may also contact the local Designated officer to resolve the issue.
22. I am a superannuated Employee and would like to change my Nomination under Pension Plan with LIC. How can I do that ?
You may submit your request to the local Designated Officer and the same will be processed accordingly.
23. When I have to submit Life certificate for LIC pension?
An employees who have opted for “Annuity with Life” are required to submit life certificate annually and those who have opted “Annuity with Life and ROC” are to be submit Life certificate after 05 years i.e. date of vesting to LIC Office or contact the local Designated Officer.
24. I have to submit Life certificate . Where from I will get that ?
Please visit Golden Retirement portal on website of GAIL and download the form or you may also contact the local Designated officer for getting the same.
25. I am superannuated employee and getting pension from LIC, New Delhi. Can I transfer my annuity from LIC, New Delhi to my home town ?
No, pension will be paid centrally by LIC. However, you can change bank account of your nearest home town branch.
26. I am a Ex-employee superannuated after 1.1.2017. How I can get details of my arrears ?
You may contact the local Designated Officer to get the details.
27. At the time of superannuation I have kept my PF accumulation with GAIL PF Trust for a certain period. Whether the same can be withdrawal partially and how much time will be taken for full settlement ?
After superannuation you can not withdrawal your PF in bits and pieces the same can be settled as full and final settlement. For the purpose of final settlement you may submit Form 19 which is available on GAIL’s Website or contact the local Designated Officer. The same will be settled within a span of 30 days.
28. I am a widow / widower of employee of GAIL and received all full and final claims from GAIL. Can my son / daughter who is now qualified, will get employment in GAIL ?
At present GAIL is not having a policy for Employment of wards of deceased employee, however he/she may apply as an open candidate against GAIL’s recruitment advertisements.
