• As stipulated in the detailed advertisement for the post of Executive Trainees (Advt. No. GAIL/OPEN/ET/5/2015) available on GAIL website www.gailonline.com, online applications submitted by candidates without valid/ correct GATE-2016 Registration Number have not been considered for further processing.

• Candidates have been shortlisted for interview on provisional basis subject to their meeting eligibility requirements and other terms and conditions as stipulated in the detailed advertisement for the post of Executive Trainee (Advt. No. GAIL/OPEN/ET/5/2015) hosted on GAIL website www.gailonline.com

• As stipulated in the detailed advertisement for the post of Executive Trainee (Advt. No. GAIL/OPEN/ET/5/2015), 01 post of Executive Trainee (Mechanical) is reserved for PWD (HH) category candidates (Degree of disability 40% & above), 01 post of Executive Trainee (Electrical) is reserved for PWD (OH-OL) category candidates (Degree of disability 40% & above) & 01 post of Executive Trainee (Telecom/ Telemetry) is reserved for PWD [OH (OA, OL)] category candidates (Degree of disability 40% & above). In the above context, PWD (HH) category candidates for the post of Executive Trainee (Mechanical), PWD (OH-OL) category candidates for the post of Executive Trainee (Electrical) and PWD [OH (OA, OL)] category candidates for the post of Executive Trainee (Telecom/ Telemetry) will only be considered for appearance in further Selection Process. Since, the exact type of disability, i.,e OA, OL etc of the candidates are not mentioned in the online application form, the candidates with any other disability may not appear in the further Selection Process. Candidates called for interview against these posts should belong to the respective category and should submit PWD (HH)/ PWD (OH-OL)/ PWD [OH (OA, OL)] certificate (as applicable) In prescribed format issued by Competent Authority as prescribed by Government of India at the time of interview, failing which they will not be permitted to appear in the interview.
